Stress and relaxation
12 million adults consult a GP each year for mental health problems, many of which are anxiety and depression related. It is estimated that nearly 30% of employees will experience a mental health problem in any 1 year.
...you're the odd one out if you're not stressed...
Dealing with stress is an inevitable part of modern life, but so too should be the practice of relaxation. Our bodies need balance, but we are so used to living stressfull ives that we do not always see the signs of stress.
Some common symptoms are below:
- feeling faint or light headed
- stomach upset, in a knot or loss of appetite
- sense of pressure, lack of time
- disturbed or difficult sleep or grinding your teeth at night
- loss or lack of concentration
As some of these symptoms can point towards other medical conditions you should always consult your GP before undergoing hypnotherapy.

Relaxation, then, should be an essential part
of our modern lives
Relaxation should focus on the body and mind, relieving muscular tension and reducing the "inner chatter" - the thoughts and concerns that swirl around in our heads. Any process which allows you to do this will offer many rewards. Clinical hypnotherapy places the body and mind in a state of deep relaxation allowing the muscles and mind to relax. It is a complete refresh for the system.
Hypnotherapy can be used regularly for relaxation, for 1-off treats for yourself or as a gift to a friend or loved one.
